Responsibility
Cameron Construction is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and maintaining the surrounding natural environment of any construction project. In accordance with our standard operating procedures, we are committed to preventing pollution and environmental damage, in complete compliance with the highest level of legislation and regulations available. Our processes are in place to protect and preserve Papua New Guinea’s mostly untouched landscape and natural environment.
With the considerable amount of work that takes place in remote areas of Papua New Guinea, we engage with the local communities to prevent any further environmental disruption to their territory. Because we understand their connection to the effects of construction projects in these remote areas, we take every precaution to respect their needs at each project stage. At the beginning of each project, we establish an on-going community liaison to establish working relationships with community leaders. Additionally, we take every opportunity to offer employment to members of these local communities for each project.
At Cameron Construction, we understand that it is our responsibility to take extra measures to protect the natural environment of Papua New Guinea. We implement environmentally responsible processes and practices to reduce our footprint on the land surrounding each project. With these processes in place, Cameron Construction is able to undertake work in harsh and challenging environments.
